Hello & Welcome to MGL!

My name is Mercadez, and I am the owner/founder of MGL by Mercadez. I created this brand as a way to put all of my insecurities into something that is amazing. This is my way of showing myself and all people that anything is possible. 

As a child, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder which then turned into Anorexia. This also came with anxiety and OCD. Designing put my mind on making thing’s beautiful and made me forget about things, even for a moment. 

My current line, is a way to make me and everyone else feel beautiful. The broken winged butterfly isn’t perfect, but is very beautiful. Everyone can feel this way. I also started my current line with 2 Italian phrases, Sentirsi Bella which means “Feeling Beautiful” and Sentirsi Bene which means “Feeling Good”. 

I hope this makes you feel as beautiful and good as I feel. I want people to enjoy wearing not only my products, but others too. This is just a start for me, so look forward to more amazing looks and future designs.
