Welcome to MGL by Mercadez!
My name is Mercadez, the Owner and Founder. I have always had a dream to open up a clothing brand, but I started this as a way to turn my insecurity into a message.
As a child, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder which then led to anorexia. I have struggled with this every day; I always put myself down.
I made my first two collections in Italian to represent my Italian side. I created the Ladies "Sentirsi Bella", meaning "Feeling Beautiful" and Men's "Sentirsi Bene", meaning "Feeling Good".
Another unique design to my first collection is the bent wing butterfly. You may ask yourself, why is the butterfly wing bent? The butterfly wing is bent to represent our meaning, "You don't have to be perfect to be beautiful". The broken winged butterfly isn’t perfect, but is very beautiful.
I hope this brand helps embrace yourself. This is just the start for my business, so look out for new and unique items.
